eseia and its members are looking to attract young people to careers in renewable energies.Numerous events and initiatives are organised regularly to bring youth in science. Here are some examples:


TEC2MOVE RIC NAWITECH Experience Days          

tec2move.jpgOn 2 -3 July 2015 the RIC GmbH organized children's and youth events in Wels, Austria. This event fascinated many school groups and visitors with experiments, exhibitions and workshops on science and technology. One of the highlights of the event was the lecture "Adventure to Mars" by Dr. Gernot Grömer, chairman of the Austrian Space Forum. Many well-known companies, schools and organizations such as BRP-Rotax, Vienna Technical Museum, Club Science Center Network, Ars Electronica Center, Otelo gene, Johannes Kepler University, FH OÖ, HTBLA Wels, Rico Elastomere Projecting, Austrian Space Forum offered diverse workshops and invited to actively join in and try intriguing experiments.  

 

LNEG’s Living Science in Laboratory - Scientific Occupation of Youngsters during the Holidays

The National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG), similar previous years, participated in the 2015 edition of the Living Science in Laboratory format, which took place between 6 and 17 July at the Pole Lumiar. The Ciência Viva program in Laboratory - Scientific Youth in Holiday Occupation (OCJF) provided high school students an opportunity to approach the reality of scientific and technological research. This year LNEG addressed issues such as Energy, Bioenergy and Sustainability.
