Who are eseia members?

eseia members are European, nationally-based organisations working in the field of sustainable energies. They are cross-sector organisations from universities to business working towards research and policies. eseia members are involved in a wide range of activities in the field of international cooperation, with particular focus on innovative research, promotion of cross-European education and formulating policy advice to help the simulation of regions models.

How can an organisation become an eseia member?

Members of eseia are leading international innovation actors from all sides of the knowledge triangle; businesses, research and education organisations as well as public institutions that pursue the goal of advancing sustainable energy systems. The combined competencies of eseia members provide a valuable knowledge pool for almost any sustainable energy innovation challenge from renewable resources to consumption. Each partner acts as a focal point in their particular national, regional, and topical context. The alliance spans the whole of geographical Europe.

How can an organisation get involved in a project?

eseia projects are focused along the five strategic challenges and the eseia expertise defines the content of the work programme. Projects have been developed which utilise the membership competences. More details of the ongoing projects can be found here.

Is it possible to take part in an eseia Event?

eseia meets periodically for General Assembly and Governing Council meetings to discuss and plan the eseia work programme. These meetings are open to individuals from the membership organisations, for information and registration please email the eseia Secretariat. eseia also organises a number of workshops and discussion panels in which the outside public can attend, for more information on upcoming events, please visit the events page.

How do a register for regular updates from eseia?

eseia currently produces an internal newsletter which is available for eseia members and there is no available newsletter currently for public dissemination.  However, we recommend that you keep checking our news page for the latest information and further find out more in our annual reports.

Does eseia provide funding for business and research ventures?

Unfortunately eseia cannot provide funding for business and research ventures. However; eseia offers support for proposal writing, to include consortium building, expert knowledge of funding schemes and management expertise.
