The Sustainable Built Environment D-A-CH Conference 2019 (SBE19 Graz) took place 11-14 September 2019 at the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz, AT) with close to 180 scientific presentations and 400 participants and experts on sustainable built environment involved in the development of the Graz Declaration for Climate Protection in the Build Environment. The document adopted by the delegates during the conference calls politicians and scientists to take action against climate change by setting 13 specific targets for the built environment.
The document has already been supported by the City of Graz and the TU Graz among other organisations stressing important goals such as:
The Graz Declaration is a concluding statement from the SBE19 Graz Conference discussions that provide concrete planning and objectives to limiting GHG-emissions through the building life cycle. eseia already supports the Graz Declaration and invites all of its Members to do the same by signing and distributing information about it.
