DG MOVE of the European Commission presented the ‘STRIA Roadmap Smart Mobility Systems and Services – Priority Actions for Implementation’ document during the validation workshop of the EU STRIA Roadmap ‘Smart Mobility Systems and Services’ organised the 15 May 2019 in Brussels, Belgium, and in which eseia participated actively.
The presented document updates the STRIA Smart Mobility Systems and Services Roadmap, one of seven STRIA roadmaps included in the EC Staff Working Document ‘Transport Research and Innovation Contribution to the Mobility Package’ released in 2017. It identifies and reviews options of smart mobility innovation for low-carbon transport and mobility in Europe.
The document includes some of the inputs gathered from the consultations with smart mobility experts and R&I stakeholders, including the members from the eseia Focus Group Smart Mobility Prof. Mario Hirz from Graz University of Technology, Prof. Martijn Kiers from the FH Joanneum, and the Project Officer Moritz Kammerlander from the Graz Energy Agency, AT, who contributed their ideas to actualise and progress the European policy framework.
