eseia is involved in a continuous process to seek EU funding opportunities for proposal submission in the field of sustainable energy systems and energy transition. Currently, the Alliance prepares together with eseia Member Organisations and external partners two new proposals to the following EU H2020 calls:
The clean-energy transition does not just pose technological and scientific challenges; it also requires a better understanding of cross-cutting issues related to socioeconomic, gender, sociocultural, and socio-political issues. The objective of the call is to address the transition to a low-carbon energy system and economy, which still faces a big challenge in many regions, involving citizens into the discussion and achieving a better understanding of their needs. The call, relevant to the eseia Working Group 1 on Bioresources, was discussed the 3 July 2019 during the Proposal Workshop organised by eseia.
The main objective of this call related to the eseia Working Group 3 Education & Training is to increase the number of skilled building professionals across the construction value chain (designers, architects, engineers, building managers, technicians, installers, blue collar workers, apprentices, and other building professionals). A specific focus is given to the engagement of SMEs, which need to increase opportunities for workers and home owners to get involve in new constructions and innovative building solutions.
If you would like to further discuss any EU call in the field of sustainable energy innovation, please, do not hesitate to contact eseia.
