1 - 12 July 2019: eseia International Summer School in Zagreb, Croatia


Join the eseia International Summer School 2019 from 1 to 12 July at University of Zagreb, Croatia, to find a novel approach to smart energy system integration and utilisation of non-conventional biomass.

The eseia International Summer School 2019 will tackle topics such as:

  • The integration of products and processes based on non-conventional bio-resources into buildings and smart cities,
  • The identification of optimal bio-fuel integration into sustainable mobility systems,
  • Policy and economic instruments for mobilising non-conventional bio-resources.

Additional focus will be given to the implementation of the research knowledge, including the creation of a successful EU funding proposal, project management best practices, and the development of International Strategic Partnerships.

eseia ISS practical information

Ph.D., master student or young professionals from the field of energy, process, electrical, environmental engineering or related studies are welcome to register for the event.

Applicants are requiered to send a short motivation letter and their CV in euro pass format to Goran.Krajacic@fsb.hr or office@eseia.eu by 15 June 2019.

Attention: Deadline for registration has been extended until 28 June 2019.

The ISS 2019 fee is 200€ + VAT (25%) covering the course materials, lunches, site visits and excursion. Other costs are in the responsibility of the participants. Important: Accomodation can be provided for the whole period (31st June – 13th July) under request at the student dormitories for 195 EUR + VAT (25%) and will be directly paid by participants at dormitory’s reception. To book accommodation, please, provide the following information to the organiser Prof. Goran Krajačić from UNIZAG: Surname, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Country of Birth, Citizenship, Type of Passport (Passport or Identity Card), Passport Number, Date of arrival and departure.
